The smoke has cleared and the 2009-2010 college football season has come to an end. Alabama rode its running game and defense over the Texas Longhorns and are the best team in college football since 1992. Texas played courageously without QB Colt McCoy for the majority of the game. Boise State impressed the nation again as they took apart a very good TCU team in a battle of unbeatens. While Florida and QB Tim Tebow came their season and career, respectively, a just curtain call as they destroyed Cincinnati. Ohio State owned the Roses by beating Oregon and Iowa silenced the option of Georgia and secured the Oranges. In terms of the bowl predictions I made, it was a bit of tough season as upsets were common this year. I went 19-15, which isn't bad and went 51-19 for the regular season in my top 5 picks of the week. Now to put a cap on this year with my final rankings.

It was a season with few upsets, but a crazy bowl season with an almost predictable champion when the final whistle blew. Here is to 2009 and can' wait until August when the fun begins again.
